Plan a flatbread meal backwards

Start with the time you want to serve the meal and read the complete recipe. Identify any mixing, resting or preparation steps before deciding when to begin. Follow a tested recipe and its cooking instructions.

Write a short topping list and prepare ingredients as the recipe requires. Keep preparation areas and storage appropriate for the ingredients you are using. Avoid adding so many choices that the meal becomes difficult to assemble.

After the meal, record the quantity made and what your household enjoyed. Save the recipe with those notes. Next time, you can adjust the plan using an actual result rather than a guess.
